Architect: Heidi Richardson

Constructed on a small in-fill lot in Ross, Ca., this home is a great example of a well-conceived “not so big house”. The open plan of the center of the house, which opens to the rear gardens, allows this compact home to feel much larger.

The small private sleeping spaces allow room for an ample fiber arts studio. This home has a wonderful blend of Japanese and modern bungalow influences and will well withstand the tests of time.
